There is something truly special about experiencing Svalbard early in the season. When the sun returns after the long, dark winter, it feels like a rebirth. The vast white landscapes remain almost untouched, the fjord ice is still thick, and the rays of the midnight sun fall across glittering ice formations. Like something out of a winter fairytale.
