As Eclipse cruises through one of her final departures of the 2026 Kimberley season, we are already planning for another exciting year aboard Eclipse and so we wanted to take this opportunity to share a quick update on our 2027 voyage to help with your client planning for the year ahead.
Eclipse Expeditions offers five exemplary set itineraries in our three cruising regions along the West Coast of Australia.
The wild and wonderful Kimberley is where we spend the majority of our cruising season from April to early October before we transit to the offshore paradise of the Northern Ningaloo and Montebello Islands for October and November.
During the summer months, December through March, we sail the crystal clear waters of Geographe Bay in the Southwest before returning to the magical Ningaloo en route to the Kimberley.
KIMBERLEY | Demand continues to build
We’re seeing strong and increasing interest in the Kimberley for 2027 and, in response, have recently added three additional departures to our schedule — one at the beginning of the season and two towards the end.
There is still some excellent cabin availability across our Iconic Kimberley Expedition and Kimberley Islands Explorer voyages. However, with enquiries continuing to increase, we expect availability to tighten as we head towards 2027. It appears the majority of enquiries and bookings are for the first half of the season so if your clients wish to travel early season, I encourage bookings soon to avoid missing out.
Our private Kimberley charter dates are particularly limited. If you have families or groups considering taking Eclipse exclusively, I would encourage starting that conversation sooner rather than later so we have the best chance of securing dates that work for them.
NINGALOO | A little more room to move
Interest in our Ningaloo Coast Voyager remains positive, although bookings are moving at a quieter pace than the Kimberley.
This means there are still some wonderful opportunities for clients wanting to experience Ningaloo aboard Eclipse in 2027 — seven nights exploring one of Western Australia’s most extraordinary coastlines with just eight guests aboard.
For clients looking beyond the Kimberley, it is a fantastic alternative and a voyage we would love your help bringing to the attention of the right travellers.
SOUTH WEST | More ways to experience Eclipse
Our 2027 South West season continues to evolve, and alongside our multi-day private cruises, we have now introduced private day charters.
These offer a beautiful way for families, groups of friends, corporate groups and special occasions to experience Eclipse over summer — combining Geographe Bay cruising with swimming, local produce, chef-prepared dining and premium Margaret River wines.
