The New A21 Journal, Sustainability Edition

We’re excited to share a new initiative with you: The A21 Journal, Sustainability Edition. This digital publication brings together the most relevant sustainability news from Antarctica21. This first edition covers our latest efforts across innovation, community engagement, and environmental responsibility.

Here’s a glimpse of the stories you’ll find inside:

• Reuse and Transform: In partnership with a local Patagonian SME, we upcycled 38 decommissioned expedition parkas into 100 reusable travel cases, with no additional water or industrial energy required.
• Recycle and Revive: Together with a local manufacturer, we turned over 540 kg of recycled plastic into outdoor furniture and planters for Explorers House.

Watch sustainability in action at Explorers House, our private expedition center in Punta Arenas, Chile. It brings together solar energy, rainwater collection, and local partnerships to set the tone for a responsible Antarctic experience.
