** New Entry Requirements for South Georgia
A new entry requirement has been announced by the South Georgia government. As of August 1, 2025, travellers to South Georgia are required to apply for an entry permit. A processing fee applies. The entry permit application portal is expected to open in August 2025, and applications must be submitted at the latest 15 days prior to departure.
