A-ROSA SENA Sets Sail on the Rhine ​

On 18 June 2022, the A-ROSA SENA departed from Cologne for the maiden voyage with the first guests on board. From now on she’ll take our guests to the most beautiful places along the northern Rhine.

A landmark moment for us, A-ROSA SENA is our first next-generation ship designed both to be the most climate-friendly on Europe’s rivers and to unlock a whole new segment of multi-generational family-friendly river cruising. Recently our new E-Motion Ship received the “German Award for Sustainability Projects 2022” and got awarded for her environmentally friendly technologies.

Throughout the summer, the A-ROSA SENA offers 7-night voyages from Cologne, Amsterdam, Rotterdam, Dordrecht and Antwerp to Cologne.6 Advantages of Our New E-Motion Ship:

•		SUSTAINABLE TRAVEL The A-ROSA SENA features a hybrid propulsion system with electric and diesel engines, as well as a battery storage system that allows for virtually silent and emission-free city calls.
•		MORE SPACE Standard cabins on deck 2 and 3 are 21 square metres, divided into a separate sleeping and lounge area, and feature a balcony with seating for two.
•		FAMILY TIME Deck 1 features a large family area with a stationary Kids Club and new 28-square-metres family cabins for up to five people. The sun deck includes a separate Kids Pool next to the large swimming pool.
•		NON-STOP RELAXATION On deck 1 you will find our extra-large SPA-ROSA with sauna, whirlpool, ice grotto, heat bench, relaxation room as well as treatment rooms and a fitness area. Two pools are available for our guests on the sun deck.
•		CULINARY VARIETY Guests can look forward to a whole new world of culinaric pleasures and restaurant areas with gourmet buffets, served dinners and an à la carte restaurant. In addition, the A-ROSA SENA has several bars and elegant outdoor areas.
•		ENTERTAINMENT On board as well as ashore, completely new experiences await guests, whether high-quality entertainment formats with various guest artists in our lounge or exciting excursions for the whole family. No wishes are left unfullfilled on the new A-ROSA SENA.

In October and November 2022, we take our guests on a journey within the journey: They can experience experts on a variety of topics – in lectures and workshops as well as very personally in individual sessions.
