– Foreign currency no longer accepted in small Greenland towns: Credit cards and major foreign currencies are welcomed in larger towns, but smaller communities now require Danish Kroner for purchases, especially at local markets. Bring DKK or withdraw cash at banks in bigger towns to shop with local artisans.
