Eric & Letty

Built in the early 1990s, this fleet of three identical triplets were custom-made for cruising the Galapagos archipelago. Accommodations include ten double cabins located on three decks, each furnished with two twin beds or one double bed, a roomy closet, drawers, overhead storage plus climate controls, an intercom system, and private bath.

Cabins on Iguana Deck are located at sea level, while the Booby and Dolphin Decks have larger windows and are located on or above the main deck. The boats’ interior is designed in polished teak wood and features air condition throughout, ample-sized common areas including a dining room, a well-stocked bar, a conference area with TV and VCR, stereo cassette/CD equipment, and a book- and video library to escape the strong midday heat. Picture windows surround the upper two decks and offer spectacular panoramic views of the landscape of the islands and the deep blue sea. Those that worship the equatorial sun, twinkling stars, and wind across the ocean, are welcome to relax on the sun deck. The deck is also great for catching the ocean breeze as you cruise through Darwin’s biological paradise.

A seasoned captain, eight dedicated crew members, and two experienced English-speaking naturalist guides attend to you during your entire Galapagos cruise. Each naturalist guide takes a group of no more than 10 passengers on the shore excursions and shares his extensive knowledge about the Island’s diverse wildlife with you. Small wooden boats, locally called pangas, ferry passengers to shore for Island visits.
