An A‑ROSA river cruise is the ideal holiday for families and multi-gen travellers. Our A‑ROSA Kids Club was first launched 10 years ago and has seen around 17,000 young guests during this time. But it’s not just our Kids Club or the fact that kids up to 15 years travel for free that makes us the perfect choice for travellers of all ages. Our fleet has been designed with curious guests of all ages in mind, from Kids’ Clubs to excursions for littler legs. | 10 Years A-ROSA Kids Club We first introduced our family cruise concept in April 2014. Since then, we’ve been offering the A‑ROSA Kids Club to our young explorers aged 4 to 15 during key school holiday times on selected dates & itineraries. Our family cruises are defined by special offers for our young guests on board. We host exciting Kids Club activities like a ship rally or a mocktail workshop with the bar crew, as well as optional family-friendly excursions that cater to both young and old (subject to minimum numbers, at a surcharge). All family cruises are marked with an F behind the departure date in our brochure. And of course, we can’t talk about families and not mention our multigenerational flagship, A‑ROSA SENA, first launched about two years ago. This ship is designed to cater for the interests of all age groups and offers, among other things, the first stationary Kids Club on a river cruise ship, 28 m² family cabins for up to 5 people and a separate shallow-water pool for small children next to the deep-water pool. After our first successful trial run of swimming lessons last summer, we decided to extend our range of courses on board A‑ROSA SENA this year. With a total of three different swim courses available to children from the age of 4.5, we’ve got something for everyone. Every course varies in difficulty with different learning objectives and final exam options. 2 out of the 3 courses can be completed with an officially recognised swimming qualification*.
TIP: As the number of participants per swimming course is limited, we recommend booking the swimming lessons before the start of the holiday. We cannot guarantee availability on board.
