As we finish our final expedition of the season we would like to share what an incredible year we have had in 2022. We were lucky enough to take guests from all over the world to explore Svalbard and we were greeted with excellent wildlife sightings on every voyage. With 19 expeditions in Svalbard under our belt, we are back on dry land and ready to invite you to join us in 2023. Next year we have some fantastic expeditions planned in both the Arctic and Antarctic. See Our 2023 Season Here In Svalbard we are excited to introduce MV Explorer to our vessels for 2 photography expeditions in early May. We are excited Florian Ledoux is fresh back from his filming of BBC frozen Planet 2 and will be joining our expedition team to help guide photographers to the best spots in Svalbard. For non-photographers we will be running our Expedition Micro Cruises onboard the very comfortable expedition vessel Kinfish with a choice of 9 or 11-day expeditions for 12 guests. We have two legendary guides onboard each departure and we will be sure to explore lots of places the bigger ships can’t reach. Our expedition to South Georgia in 2024 is filling up fast. This is a unique 15-day expedition that offers a rare opportunity to do an in-depth exploration of South Georgia. The voyage takes place on the newly refurbished Polar Pioneer with just 48 guests, the smallest sized group by far. In 2022 our trips received an outstanding response from our guests. |
“The expedition was outstanding from start to finish. The guides were brilliant, the food was excellent. I felt like I was part of a real adventure. We even saw polar bears. I would highly recommend a small ship for anyone looking to explore Svalbard.” |
