Originally built in France by Guy Couach, Nortada is a fully rebuilt fiberglass vessel serving as a dive live-aboard in the Galapagos Islands. Nortada offers 7 and 14 night itineraries to Wolf and Darwin for 8 guests.
Nortada is not a luxury vessel. Price and service are comparable to other mid-range 16 people live- aboard vessels in Galapagos. However, Nortada’s eight guest arrangement leverages encounters with marine wild life and enhances diver supervision. This renders in a safer, more personalized dive experience: a signature product unavailable from any other boat.
All full FIT departures are run with two dive masters diving from two tenders. This renders in better dives and more chances to see even the most elusive marine wildlife. An increased supervision ratio also makes diving safer by accommodating different levels of experience, air consumption and interests.
Nortada constitutes a great option for running charters in small groups; allows retailers to fill departures easily and enables travel agencies to offer selected guaranteed FIT departures all year round.
Nortada also supports specialized activities such as rebreather and technical diving, private super yacht expeditions, enhanced privacy needs and other interest oriented departures.
