A scolding squirrel let us know we’d hiked too close to its seed store for comfort. Other islands, sprawling Mountain Lake, and glacier-ridden Mt. Rainier and Mt. Baker… sights along the Mt. Constitution trail were welcome distractions from the steady climb, climb, climb. Topping out at over 2,500 feet high, we had the same viewpoint of the two soaring eagles we’d seen along the way.
Remote islands, chattering waterfalls, old-growth forest, harbor seals, orca, hiking, and kayaking. Explore coastal Washington and British Columbia by small ship!
Unrushed. Uncrowded. Unbelievable.
